The office building pictured above greets residents returning home to this complex, along with a large sign that reads “Village Green — National Historic Landmark.” Village Green was included in FORT LA’s “Five Great Multifamily Complexes in LA” trail, curated by author and architect Frances Anderson. This Liemert Park home is just around the corner from the Ella Fitzgerald home located on Hepburn Ave. It’s also surrounded by and slightly mirrors the style of Liemert’s “Steinkamp” homes, designed by Elwain Steinkamp and William T.
